Counselling

I offer a warm, safe and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship in which you are free to explore any issues which may be troubling you.

Life can feel frightening at times. Emotional distress, overwhelm, confusion and depression can affect all and any of us.

It is my belief that each individual’s experience of life is important, valid and full of wisdom. We all individually hold the answers to life’s questions; sometimes we just need the space to be able to hear them.

Rather than finding it necessary to diagnose and label your experience, I prefer to recognise that every person’s individual experience holds meaning.

Together we can work to find your voice.

As a commitment to my own personal growth and integrity I have regular personal counselling sessions and engage in continuing professional development workshops throughout the year.

I can work with you on a short term basis or on a long term, more open ended basis.

Councelling

Initial session

During our first session together we will establish the boundaries that will keep our therapeutic relationship safe. You can decide following this session whether you feel as though we will be able to work together and if so, how often you would like to meet. Where possible each session will be held at the same time on the same day of the week.

Cost

With NHS waiting lists at an all time high and huge pressures on our mental health teams, I aim to provide counselling sessions at an affordable rate. I work from a comfortable and welcoming space in my home in Shrewsbury and also offer home visits out in the community. I am also able to offer appointments from a location in Wellington, Telford.

* For a home visit it is important that you have a quiet and private space where your counselling session can take place, free from disruption.

Each session lasts 1 hour

£35 per session – Shrewsbury

£40 – Home Visit (Shrewsbury area)

£35 per session – Wellington
